We want to make visiting InRoads an enjoyable, easy, stress-free and relaxing experience. Whatever your background, we've designed InRoads to be "user-friendly", including those who have never been to church before. Have you been to a Starbucks? Well you're practically home free.
Before The Service
After you park, at the front door there will be some friendly people (we call them "greeters") to say hello, answer any questions you have, and direct you to our meeting room. If you have kids, they can point you to the kids' classes. With the exception of the nursery, all of our kids' classes are downstairs. If your kids are shy, they're welcome to attend the adult service with you. Since we sit at tables that have chalkboard paint on them, the bucket of chalk on the table for them to doodle with may help.
When you walk into the meeting room, you'll notice that everyone is dressed comfortably in anything from office casual, to jeans and sneakers, to shorts and flip flops. Feel free to take a seat at any of our tables or couches.
On the nearest table will be a copy of InTernal, which is where you will find the latest information regarding current news and upcoming events, as well as bible study and small group information. There's also room to take notes during the sermon. Also on your tables you'll find an orange info card, which is an easy way for us to get better acquainted. You can ask for any kind of information or assistance by filling out the card and dropping it in the offering box near the stage at the front.
During The Service
The service begins with some upbeat music (drums, guitars, keyboards, vocalists), followed by a welcome and a fellowship break. This is a great time to refill your coffee cups, grab some snacks, and get to know those around you. Following the break will be the morning announcements and information, followed by the sermon.
Jeff, our pastor, will usually speak for about 30 minutes, making the messages interesting, enjoyable, and relevant to daily life. Jeff loves God's Word, and his passion is that you will come to love it as well. You might laugh at times, or feel a tug at your heart and be inspired and encouraged for your week ahead. You'll be sure to hear solid Christian teaching in intelligent, understandable, and relevant terms. If you don't have a Bible, don't worry, we've got you covered. We project the Bible passages on a big screen. Plus there are free Bibles available to you when you first walk in, as well as at each table.

After the sermon, we continue with praise and worship, and also offer communion at this time. (Communion, also known as the Eucharist or the Lord's Supper, is a Christian celebration of the self-sacrifice of Jesus Christ.) If you're a committed Christian, or genuinely seeking a relationship with Jesus Christ, you're welcome to share in communion with us. If not, you can just sit back and enjoy the music and spend some time in meditation and prayer. After a few songs of reflection and worship, we end the service with an exit song.
After The Service
The service will end about 75 minutes after it began. If you're new, please introduce yourself to a member of the staff, or anyone else for that matter, and tell us it's your first time. We're very open to feedback and to hearing your first impressions. This would also be a good time to drop your info card into the bucket at the front. Also if you have kids, you'll pick them up from their classrooms. Then we hope you'll stay around, and enjoy getting to know someone new. Church is about God and worship, but it's also about community, friendship and fellowship.
That's about it. We often hear from people, 'If this is church, I can do this.' We hope when you come visit us you'll feel the same way. Don't forget to introduce yourself, and tell us that you found out about InRoads on the Internet.
